Fil X ABS offers the four big pillars to great 3D prints: thermal stability, chemical stability, impact strength and a glossy, smooth finish.
ABS (Acetonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is stronger than most other filament materials with excellent heat resistance. The down-side to this, is that it is a little tricky for beginners to work with this filament.
To better control the temperature as well as the fumes emitted during printing, we recommend ABS be printed using a printer enclosure.
Finished products can be lent a professional-grade finish by subjecting it to a acetone vapor bath.
